How we handle your information

Family Leadership Systems LLC ("FLS," "we," "us") runs familyleadershipsystem.com. This policy explains what information we collect through this site and the tools connected to it, what we do with it, and the choices you have. What we collect
Information you give us. When you fill out a form on this site we collect what you type into it:
- Leading at Home signup: your first name and email address.
- Sprint application: your first name, email address, phone number, and the ages of your children.
- Family Leadership Scorecard: your answers to the scorecard questions and any contact details the scorecard asks for.
- Email and messages: anything you send us directly.
- Payments: if you enroll in a paid program, your payment details go straight to our payment processor. We see the name, email, amount, and status of the payment. We never see or store your full card number.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider receives technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request, and uses it to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Our email service records whether emails are opened and which links are clicked. The site stores a small note in your browser so the Leading at Home popup doesn't keep reappearing after you close it or sign up. We do not run advertising trackers on this site.
About your children's ages
The Sprint application asks for the ages of your children so we can tell whether the program fits your family's season. We ask only for ages, never names or other details about your kids, and we ask the parent, not the child. This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
How we use it
- To respond to your application and follow up with you about the Sprint, including by phone if you gave us a number.
- To send the Leading at Home email and other updates you signed up for.
- To deliver coaching and programs you enroll in, and to process payments.
- To understand what's working on the site and in our emails, so we can improve them.
- To keep the site secure and meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Who helps us
We use a small number of service providers who handle information on our behalf and only for the purposes above:
- Kit (kit.com) runs our signup and application forms and sends our emails.
- Tally (tally.so) runs the Family Leadership Scorecard.
- Cloudflare hosts this website.
- Google Workspace handles our email.
- Stripe processes payments.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of FLS or others.
How long we keep it
We keep newsletter subscribers on our list until they unsubscribe. We keep application and client information for as long as we have a working relationship, plus a reasonable period afterward for our records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of any email.
- Ask for a copy, a correction, or deletion of the information we hold about you by emailing andrew@familyleadershipsystem.com. We'll respond within 30 days.
- Block or clear browser storage in your browser settings. The site still works without it.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. We'll honor any request that applies to you.
Security
We use reputable providers and limit access to your information to the people who need it to serve you. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If the change is significant, we'll let subscribers know by email.
